Tulsa Wedding: Allison and Bryton

Real Wedding Ceremony _ Allison and Bryton

“It’s so funny because I was stressing out about wedding invitations the day Julia messaged me on facebook to offer her services! This was the least stressful and smoothest process of my entire wedding. The invites turned out perfectly, and I loved that someone I knew made the invites.”

Allison chose the Wildflower Overlay Suite and made it her own with a pop of pink!

Let me tell you about these two – Allison and Bryton are one of the most fun couples I know! Looking through their wedding photos, the first thing that you see is their radiant joy and love for one another. About half of their photos are of them laughing together, and I think that’s the best kind of wedding!

Allison and Bryton met at a Christmas party their freshman year in the lounge of Allison’s dorm (Drummond Hall, for any Oklahoma State Alumni). “We were watching Christmas movies, and Bryton narrated the entire movie! I thought he was very annoying at first, but then we became good friends and I loved being around Bryton. Looking back I think I had a crush on him the whole time we were friends (4 whole years!). It’s really funny and cool to look back on the progression of our friendship to dating to married!”

“I wanted my wedding day to be about family, and I wanted most all the vendors to be people I personally knew. I had sort of a whimsical/pink theme – I picked my wedding dress before doing anything else, and it was pink! I think most everything stemmed from that choice.”

We loved Allison’s focus on family and friends – her perspective goes to show that wedding planning doesn’t need to be stressful or overwhelming! They focused on what mattered to them and let the details fall into place beautifully.

“My favorite part of the day was dancing with my husband. That day was a little stressful for me (that’s just who I am), but my husband made everything all worth it. Dancing with him made my whole wedding perfect.”

Allison’s tip for brides- “Don’t be afraid to make some crazy choices- I had a pink wedding dress that I ordered online without trying on, and I loved it! Also, it’s really fun to have people you know as your vendors. It adds something special and meaningful to each piece of the wedding celebration.”
